The bistro at Horatius uses the freshest seasonal ingredients to make simple dishes that enhance their innate flavors. Based on the belief that great food comes from great raw ingredients, the bistro features foods that are local, organic and sustainable whenever possible.

 


The bistro at Horatius features Portuguese-Mediterranean fare, made with respect to tradition yet embracing today's lighter culinary sensibilities.  The lunch menu includes our popular crispy chicken sandwich served with piquillo pepper aioli, a luscious Portuguese tuna salad and our new signature Beef Espetada salad, skewers of beef marinated in Madeira, bay leaves, garlic and sea salt, served over a salad of baby gem lettuce. Daily entree specials are also offered. The dinner menu offers an authentic rendition of Portugal's renowned Caldo Verde (Green Broth), enriched with potatoes, linguiça and kale, as well as a traditional Bacalhau (or salt cod) dish. Horatius  provides extensive catering menus that can be tailored for corporate or private events.
