Art Gallery

The art gallery at Horatius is designed to portray an exquisite array of artworks in a wonderful, spacious setting. Now in its ninth month, Horatius has defined itself as an everchanging space, a space to enjoy while celebrating with friends and family. The new art gallery at Horatius is defined by a massive barn door, built onsite from reclaimed barn wood and hand-forged nails. Natural lighting, atrium-like ceilings and a light, airy atmosphere make Horatius a perfect place for showcasing fine art. Local and international artists will be featured on a rotating basis and all artwork will be available for purchase.

The art gallery at Horatius continues to showcase exciting artists in the newly opened space by the iconic Barn Door. The next artist Horatius will feature is the extraordinary artist Samuel TakemBaiyee.

Creation and Emotion: Studies in Color and Shape by Samuel TakemBaiyee.

His works were selected because of their raw, emotive power and use of color and symbols. This exhibition of his oil paintings, each infused with the color and rituals of his West African heritage, coincides with the first ever African-hosted World Cup, also celebrated at Horatius.

Samuel TakemBaiyee uses art as the path to explore his inner world. His work has been sold to private collectors in every continent. His featured oil paintings will be available for sale at Horatius until mid-July.
